GENERAL INFORMATION - CUSTOM SOCK ORDERS
Sockprints specializes in custom direct-to-garment printing on our socks with water-based permanent apparel inks with unlimited colors in the design. Our patented printing process makes it possible to print small minimums of custom designed socks without a set-up fee or a high cost per pair. Please note this digital printing process is different than dye sublimation and silk screening so there are some differences and limitations in our production processes.
MINIMUM ORDER FOR CUSTOM SOCKS: 6 pairs of a design and sock style/color.
ARTWORK: Refer to our spec sheet for the size of the print area for each sock style. Please send artwork files to designteam@sockprints.com. We recommend a minimum of 300 dpi PDF, AI, PNG. or high-resolution JPEG. Editable files are preferred in a PDF or AI format and the printers print in CMYK. We will do our best when it comes to matching a color as close as possible. If we think artwork is poor quality and will not print well, we will let you know. Please make sure the artwork submitted does not violate any copyright or licensing rights - we won't print it unless permission is confirmed.
SET UP FEES: We do not have any set up fees unless you are interested in having a custom design created for you. The design fee is $50.00 with 2 rounds of edits.
MOCK UP: A digital mock-up of the design will be sent for approval to confirm the sock style, placement of the design and any text that has been added. We are not responsible for any errors in the text or design once the mock up has been approved. If you need a sample of your sock sent, you will be charged for the sample and once an order is placed we’ll apply this amount to the order total.
BLACK AND DARK COLORED SOCKS: These socks require several additional steps in the production process and the design will be printed on a white ink base. Colors will not be as vibrant as they are on white socks and depending on the design some “cracking” may appear when stretched. Any concerns can be addressed at the time an order is placed and we can run a test print if needed.
PRODUCTION LEAD TIME: Once we receive an order confirmation we’ll process the order within 3-7 business days. Larger orders may take a few days longer, and the time frame will be confirmed at the time the order is placed. Each order is hand processed and print-to-order.
RETURNS: We DO NOT accept returns for custom orders unless an error has been made on our part, mock up approval by the customer is required on all custom sock orders.
PACKAGING: Socks will be packaged with our Sockprints branded hangtag unless noted on the order. We can swiftack a clear J hook on the socks for retail stores and if you have private label packaging you would like to provide let us know. Socks can also be put up with just the hangar and no tag. We ship the socks in clear poly bags by style, size and color.
DELIVERY: We ship via UPS, USPS, or FedEx depending on the weight of the order and the delivery time. If you have an account number you would like to use please let us know at the time an order is placed. Once an order is shipped as scheduled we cannot be held responsible for any delays or lost packages as we do not have any control once the package leaves our hands. Blind shipping is also an option set up at the time the order is placed. If we are shipping to an international address you will be responsible for any customs/duty fees once the shipment arrives. Will call is also an option if it is convenient for you.

MINIMUM ORDER FOR NON-CUSTOM DESIGNS: 3 pairs of a design and sock style/color.
READY TO PRINT DESIGNS: Sockprints offers a variety of original designs for a variety of themes and categories. We update and add to this collection seasonally and are open to any suggestions or requests if we think it will have universal appeal. Please note not all the sock styles are used for every design and we offer the design/sock combinations that work well with our retail business. We will accommodate rush orders when our production schedule allows.
